Mysterious ways

I'm sitting here, tired as all get out, but I can't sleep. We have 3 days till possibly one of the most pivotal moments of my life. I have been through so much in the last few years with my heart issues, hospitalizations, and just life in general that even now, so close to the finish line, as far as the comic goes, it's hard to believe.

When I started all this, I was very depressed, very hopeless, and just tired of life. Art and writing saved me. Through my art and writing, I was able to express myself in ways I could never have imagined before. I drew pictures on Reddit for some 38,000 people at a time and met a lot of wonderful people that encouraged me and kept me going but I was still very much in the throws of depression.

It wasn't till I met this guy Chris Philbrook that things started to turn around for me mentally.

If you guys don't know who Chris Philbrook is, you are living under a rock or should be lol.

Chris is an amazing person, and an amazing writer, author of Adrian's Undead Diary, Tesser, Darkness of Diggory Finch and so many more great series of books. He was my favorite author long before I ever became personally acquainted with him.

Chris, for whatever reason, saw something in me that I truly didn't see in myself. Through his patience, understanding, and guidance, I slowly built back a sense of confidence that allowed me to believe that I could chase my dreams, I owe him a lot.

Now, here I am, about to release book one of an epic saga and I can't help but look back at everything that's transpired to lead to this moment. God truly lined up a strange series of events for me to traverse and people for me to meet. but you know the saying "God works in mysterious ways."

Well, I think my dog Tucker is telling me it's bedtime, so I am gonna sign off and snuggle with my fur baby. Good night and god bless.
