Where ya been?

Where have I been? I admit, it's been a long time since I have done a blog, but things have been complicated. June of last year my sons and I were, for lack of a better word, forced to move to Montana in order to live with my mother-in-law who is, shall I say, a complete and utter nut job. Everything went downhill from there. The car blew a rod during the trek north, one of my best friends in the world self-terminated, my dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer, and despite my disability, I was forced to start working again, which has landed me in the hospital multiple times since. My cousin and my uncle died, my wife and I have decided to separate, which will soon leave me as a single, disabled father to raise two boys. All this within a matter of months, so yeah, things have been rough.

I fell into a deep, almost suicidal depression which took me quite a lot of effort to overcome, but with some good friends, and encouragement from my Wabbit community, I see myself pulling out of it. It's not been easy though. I'm trying to piece myself together again, exercising, trying to eat better, being more kind to myself, it's definitely a process.

So, I apologize for my absence here and thank you all for your patience and continued support. I think everything happens for a reason, and while I may not approve of the things that happen, I believe they have strengthened me in order to keep pushing on and keep chasing my dream of making Bad Wabbit a household name.

Sometimes in life we are faced with choices that make us or break us, and if we can just push through those difficult times, we emerge stronger than ever before. Life has no problem kicking you while you are down, so get up and get back on your feet. Chase that dream, fight that fight, there is always another day. I love you all friends and fans and will do my best to continue to bring you amazing tales in the pages of my comic books.
